7th Arrondissement

The seventh arrondissement may be the most popular part of Paris, it is also where you will be staying. There are many parks near and on the Seine, and everywhere you go within the area will be a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars. There are many small cafes lining the streets, immersing you in the culture, food, and language of France.

This area is the equivalent of the Gold Coast or Lincoln Park in Chicago. The area became the district of aristocrats in the 17th century, and it still possesses a large amount of wealth to this day. It is a very friendly and well-knit community. You will be very comfortable staying there.

FOOD

While you are exploring the streets of Paris, make sure to try as much food as you can. Things may be unfamiliar, but they are sure to be delicious. Paris is full of unique and awe-inspiring architecture, as well as traditional French archetypes. A single neighborhood may contain architectural gems that can not be found elsewhere in the world. Examples include:

ARTS

Paris is a city bursting with Art! It is home to some of the most famous museums and paintings in the world. One does not have to look far to experience some kind of art in Paris. This is a major part of what makes Paris so unique and exciting! As part of the experience, you will visit:

Language

French is a tricky language, but it also sounds really beautiful. While you are in Paris, you will pick up a lot of French words, not just textbook French, but words that people use in regular conversation. Pay attention, listen, and don't be afraid to mess up!
